Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are officially engaged! The couple, who got engaged on August 8 in Hyderabad, celebrated the occasion with both their families in attendance. Sobhita took to Instagram to share her first post since the engagement, treating fans to some never-before-seen pictures from the ceremony, along with a beautiful poem that offers a glimpse into their two-year-long relationship.

The post featured a series of intimate photos capturing the couple’s happiness. In one picture, Chaitanya and Sobhita share a private moment on a traditional swing, a scene of serene togetherness as they’re photographed from behind. Another image shows Sobhita holding Chaitanya’s hand while sitting on the swing, both smiling tenderly. The remaining photos display the couple’s infectious joy as they laugh together, with one picture showing Chaitanya holding Sobhita close.

Accompanying the pictures, Sobhita shared a poem that seemed to reflect the depth of their bond. The verse, taken from the ancient Tamil text Kurunthogai and translated by A. K. Ramanujan, reads:

"What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting."

The post quickly garnered attention, with fans flooding the comments with congratulatory messages. One fan expressed their happiness by saying, "Congratulations, we are happy to see you together," while another simply wrote, "Congratulations, my friend." A heartfelt message from another fan read, "Congratulations Anna and Vadina, Wish you a very Happy Married Life."

The couple's relationship has been the subject of much speculation since they began dating in 2022. Their relationship was first brought to light when a picture from their vacation leaked online in 2023. Despite the public interest, both Chaitanya and Sobhita have kept their relationship private.

Chaitanya’s father, actor Nagarjuna, announced the engagement on social media, sharing his excitement and blessings for the couple. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love."

This marks a new chapter for Naga Chaitanya, who was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The former couple divorced in 2021 after four years of marriage.
