Nani and Mrunal Thakur teamed up for the Telugu romantic drama 'Hi Nanna', which became a huge hit at the box office. The movie impressed the audience with its heartfelt plot and stellar performance by the star cast. 'Hi Nanna' revolves around Viraj, a fashion photographer, and his 6-year-old daughter Mahi and how their lives turn upside down when they become close with a woman named Yashna. The movie is still winning hearts as it recently bagged the Best Feature Film award at the Athens International Art Film Festival in its March edition.

'Hi Nanna' was released internationally as 'Hi Dad' and won this prestigious award. Announcing the news, the production house wrote, "Hi Nanna celebrations continue across all corners! #HiNanna released as #HiDad and received the prestigious award for Best Feature Film at the esteemed Athens International Art Film Festival in their March 2024 edition."

Director Shouryuv expressed his gratitude for winning the award and thanked the festival organisers, the jury and the team of 'Hi Nanna'. He said in a statement, "We are overjoyed and deeply honoured to receive this award for Hi Nanna at the Athens International Art Film Festival. This achievement underscores the power of storytelling to transcend cultural boundaries and connect with audiences worldwide. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the festival organisers, the jury, and our dedicated team whose passion and creativity brought Hi Nanna to life.”

The filmmakers of 'Hi Nanna' further said in a statement, "As we continue to showcase Hi Dad on the global film festival circuit, we are humbled by the support and appreciation it has garnered. This award serves as a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved in the making of this film and inspires us to continue pushing boundaries and creating meaningful experiences.”

Apart from Nani and Mrunal, the movie also stars Kiara Khanna, Nassar, Jayaram, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Angad Bedi and Viraj Ashwin with a cameo by Shruti Haasan.
