JE Entertainment Desk: South Korean dramas have gained a fan following in India over the years due to the OTT platforms. Netflix releases several K-dramas every month in different genres and they always manage to be in the top 10 spot in India. At The Netflix fan event 'Tudum 2023', the streaming platform announced a bunch of movies and web series that will release in 2023.

Here's the list South Korean movies and shows announced at Netflix Tudum 2023.

1. Sweet Home Season 2

Starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook and Lee Si Young in the lead role, 'Sweet Home 2' revolves around the residents of Green Home, who faced dangerous battles against their humans-turned-monsters.

2. DP 2

'DP' stars Jung Hae In, Koo Kya Hwan, and Kim Ji Hyun in the lead role and is all set to return with a second season on Netflix. Based on the webtoon 'D.P.: Gaeui Nal', the show focuses on the journey of a Korean military police squad assigned to catch the deserters.

3. A Time Called You

Starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been, 'A Time Called You' revolves around a woman who unexpectedly travels back in time to her past, where she meets someone resembling her late partner.

4. Doona

'Doona' stars Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong in the lead role. The movie focuses on a young man who moves into a new apartment on the second floor and discovers that a former celebrity named Doona lives downstairs.

5. Song of the Bandits

'Song of the Bandits' stars Lee Ho Jung and Lee Hyun Wook in the lead role. The show is set during Japan's colonial rule of Korea.

6. Daily Dose of Sunshine

'Daily Dose of Sunshine' revolves around a nurse working in a psychiatric ward, where she meets a variety of patients dealing with mental health challenges. The show stars Park Bo Young and Yeon Woo Jin in the lead roles.

7. Gyeongseong Creature

'Gyeongseong Creature' is one of the most awaited Korean dramas, starring Park Seo Joon, Han So-hee, and Wi Ha Joon in the lead roles. The show will revolve around a wealthy businessman in Gyeongseong, who meets a woman searching for her missing mother.

8. Believer 2

Starring Han Hyo Joo and Oh Seung Hoon in the lead roles, 'Believer 2' focuses on a detective, who goes on a mission to uncover the truth behind Asia's largest drug organization.

9. Celebrity

'Celebrity' revolves around an ordinary woman who struggles to become the biggest celebrity in the world of social media influencers. It stars Park Gyu Young and Kang Min Hyuk in the lead role.

10. Squid Game 2

Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, and Yang Dong Geun are the new addition to the star cast of 'Squid Game'. The show revolves around a secret contest where 456 players, who are in deep financial hardship, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children's games for the chance to win a ₩45.6 billion reward.

11. See You In My 19th Life

'See You In My 19th Life' revolves around Ban Ji-eum, who has been repeating her life through reincarnation for nearly a thousand years and can remember all her past lives. Her 18th life is cut short due to a tragic accident and she decides to connect with people of her past in her 19th life.

12. King The Land

'King The Land' revolves around Goo Won, who is the heir of The King Group, a luxury hotel conglomerate. He meets Cheon Sa-rang, a hotelier who always has a smile on her face. The show stars Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoon-ah in the lead roles.
