Hrithik Roshan has become the latest celebrity to approach the Delhi High Court, seeking protection for his personality rights. Over the past month, celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and Kumar Sanu have chosen a legal way against online misuse of their identity, amid the rise of AI-generated content. These petitions highlight the growing concern among celebrities about misuse of their names, images and the unauthorised commercial exploitation of their identities on websites without consent. Hrithik's plea is expected to be heard on Wednesday by Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora at the Delhi High Court.

Hrithik Roshan Moves To Delhi HC For Personality Rights

According to a report by news agency ANI, Hrithik Roshan has filed a suit before the Delhi High Court to seek protection of his publicity rights, which include safeguarding his name, image, voice, likeness and other aspects of his personality from unauthorised commercial use and misuse.

Hrithik's plea also mentions several known and unknown third parties, John Does (unnamed individuals), who have allegedly used the actor's personality aspects for commercial gain without permission. The aim is to protect his identity from being exploited online or through advertisements in such incidents.

As per reports, Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora is also slated to hear a similar petition filed by singer Kumar Sanu. He has alleged that morphed videos and other content using his name, voice, and likeness have been circulating online.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in War 2 alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. He is all set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, in which he will also headline. The casting of the female lead has been creating quite a buzz.

He is also turning producer for the web series Storm in collaboration with Prime Video. The series stars his girlfriend Saba Azad alongside Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajit Kapur.
