Actors Konkona Sensharma and Amol Parashar are rumoured to be dating. The speculations about their relationship started right after Konkona made a public appearance with Amol at the screening of his web series titled Gram Chikitsalay. Addressing the link-up rumour for the first time, Amol shared his view during a candid interview and revealed that nobody asked him about how much truth the rumour holds. He also recalled his habit of reacting to every news, but now he has learned to ignore them. Last year, the actor reportedly confirmed being in a relationship but did not reveal the name of his girlfriend.
Anmol Parashar told Hindustan Times, “Agar kuch hoga aur mujhe share karna hoga, toh I will share it on social media myself.” He also talked about the unnecessary need to give a tag to a relationship and said, “See, you have people in life. Kisi se aap close hote hain, aur kisi se aap zyaada close hote hain. Naming every relation is not necessary... Aap khush, samne waala khush aur gharwale khush, that’s it!” The duo’s first appearance together in Mumbai fueled the dating speculations, to which the Metro In Dino actress Konkona Sensharma is yet to respond.

Amol Parashar also recalled a similar situation faced by his Sardaar Udham co-star, Vicky Kaushal. Vicky was dating Katrina Kaif while shooting for the much-loved biopic and got married to her in December 2021. “I remember something similar happening with Vicky, and I was like: ‘Bhai, bata do sabko because people are asking me’. And he was like: ‘I will, at the right time’,” Amol explained.

With two back-to-back OTT releases, Amol seemed to be surprised at how his personal life has garnered more attention than his professional work. “Logon ko mazaa aa raha hai. Aap karlo kitni bhi acting, views link-up news ko hi milte hain,” he mentioned. Talking about his marriage plans, the actor shared that earlier, his mother used to pressurise him to get married, but she doesn’t anymore. “Kuch bhi ho sakta hai. I love surprising myself, and my family knows that. Agar shaadi hogi, toh I, too, will post it on Insta (laughs), as that’s what matters to everyone. But as of now, I have nothing to talk about,” he added.
About his work front, the actor shared, “It’s after ten years I am back to the theatre and it’s the first time doing a solo play called Besharam Aadmi. Already done seven shows. Also, my character dies in Kull: The Legacy of the Raisingghs but in the other series I am very much alive so there are chances of Gram Chikatsalay to be back with part 2."
