Kriti Sanon, a Delhi native, voiced grave concerns about the ongoing increase in air pollution in the nation's capital on Saturday. Speaking at a press conference for her next movie Tere Ishk Mein, the actor emphasised the city's declining air quality and urged authorities to act right away. While certain regions, like Noida, registered AQI readings above 430, denoting 'severe' pollution, Delhi's AQI remained in the 'very poor' category at 359 on Saturday morning. Kriti Sanon remarks are indicative of the public's mounting discontent as the area is still covered in layers of harmful smog.

Kriti Sanon expressed her worries about Delhi's declining air quality and stated that 'something needs to be done' to address the problem. "I don't think saying anything will help. It (pollution) is getting worse and worse. I am from Delhi, and I know what it used to be earlier, and it is getting worse. Something needs to be done to stop it; otherwise, it will reach a point where we won't be able to see each other standing next to us," she said.
