Godday Godday Chaa 2 Poster Out: The much-loved Punjabi comedy-drama Godday Godday Chaa is all set to return with a bigger and funnier sequel. Titled Godday Godday Chaa 2, the film’s makers have officially revealed its first poster, promising audiences a double dose of entertainment, progressive humour, and heartwarming family drama. Presented by Zee Studios in association with VH Media, the sequel aims to carry forward the charm of the original while raising the bar with even sharper comedy and a stronger social message.

The newly unveiled poster gives fans a hilarious glimpse into the film’s central theme, the ongoing battle of the sexes. In the first film, the women of the village staged a small but significant victory by taking over the wedding festivities, challenging traditions that always placed men in control. In Godday Godday Chaa 2, this rivalry escalates further, with the women continuing to take charge and the men desperately trying to reclaim their traditional roles. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and written by Jagdeep Sidhu, Godday Godday Chaa 2 is all set to release worldwide on 22nd October 2025.

One of the most exciting additions to the sequel is superstar Ammy Virk, who joins the cast alongside the talented Tania. Sharing his thoughts about the film, Ammy Virk expressed his excitement, “In this film, the women really have us men running in circles! The chaos is funnier than ever, but what I truly love is how the comedy is wrapped around an important social thought. It’s entertainment with a purpose, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.” Furthermore, lead actress Tania also highlighted what makes this sequel special, “The first film resonated deeply because it was about family and gently questioned outdated traditions. This time, the women are stronger, the comedy is sharper, and the message of equality shines even brighter. We can’t wait for fans to see the poster and share our excitement.”

Meanwhile, the first film, released on 26th May 2023, was a massive hit and went on to become one of the most celebrated Punjabi films of the decade. Its unique blend of witty storytelling, family themes, and meaningful commentary not only won audiences’ hearts but also bagged the prestigious National Film Award for Best Punjabi Feature Film. With such a legacy behind it, the sequel already has sky-high expectations.
