Actor Ahaan Panday celebrated his 28th birthday on Tuesday, December 23, and the day became even more special thanks to a deeply emotional Instagram post by his Saiyaara co-star and close friend Aneet Padda. The touching birthday note quickly went viral, leaving fans emotional and praising the bond the two actors share. Ahaan Panday shot to overnight fame earlier this year after making his acting debut in Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara. The film turned out to be a massive box office success, earning Rs 570 crore worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history.
Shortly after midnight, Aneet Padda shared a carousel of pictures and videos featuring Ahaan Panday, some from their time on the sets of Saiyaara, others from his personal life. The post included childhood pictures with his grandmother, moments with his pet, and several behind-the-scenes memories. Alongside the pictures, Aneet wrote a long, poetic note that left fans deeply moved. She wrote, “I’ve seen the future. I’ve seen passersby smile when you laugh out loud, they can’t help it. I’ve seen colours change in the world around, when your eyes are lost in thought admiring an old woman, watering her plants, unaware. I’ve seen the scribbles in your notepad, holding the musings of an unusual mind, rare and magical. The change of your camera lens, stubborn in its search for beauty in the mundane.”

Meanwhile, she went on to describe Ahaan’s kindness and the impact he has on people around him, “I’ve seen you be so selfless. I’ve seen my mom and dad trusting you deeply, beaming with love when they ask ‘ahaan kiven ae? theek hai na?’ every video call. I’ve seen Deanne aunty cry every time she sees your face on that poster. Pride mixed with disbelief at her son’s kindness, his soul—at the man she raised.” Aneet also reflected on Ahaan’s journey and how his success felt inevitable, “I’ve seen a stranger having a better day, after talking to you. I’ve seen the security guard waiting for his daily chat with you at 2 pm sharp. I’ve seen the world stop and stare at you before it knew why. Before it met its saiyaara on a movie screen. You were always a star, dadi was always proud. I saw the future then and I see it now. It’s all set to come true. She concluded the post with a warm birthday message,“Happy birthday ahaana, i will always be proud of the person you are. Thank you for giving the world the gift of you.”

Fans flooded the comments section with emotional reactions. One wrote, “Platonic soulmates at its finest such a wholesome bond.” Another commented, “That’s a beautiful note and a beautiful bond.” Some even said they were left in tears, adding, “Crying nazar na lage.” While dating rumours have surrounded Ahaan and Aneet in the past, both actors have clarified that they share a strong friendship and nothing more.

Ahaan Panday will next be seen in an action thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also starring Aaishvary Thackeray and Sharvari, set to release in 2026. Aneet Padda, meanwhile, is gearing up for Maddock Films’ horror-comedy Shakti Shalini, also scheduled for a 2026 release.
