Meanwhile, the Bigg Boss 19 producers have decided to extend the season. Currently, they anticipate a 20–22 week run rather than the customary 15-week run. Interestingly, Salman Khan will host for the first 15 weeks of the show's five-month run before other well-known individuals take over. Due of Khan's hectic schedule, there are rumours that Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Farah Khan will take turns hosting.

The same media publication earlier reported that Bigg Boss will only have one season instead of separate TV and OTT shows following disagreements between Banijay Asia and Colours TV. Within ninety minutes of their OTT debut, new episodes will be available for TV viewers on Colors TV.
