BLACKPINK Lisa made her acting debut in season 3 of HBO's The White Lotus. Even though she appeared in only a few scenes, her presence did not go unnoticed. She played Mook, a mysterious health mentor for guests at the resort in the American satirical comedy-drama anthology series, which premiered in February this year. Not only did Lisa's limited screen time draw attention but her reported fees for the show created a buzz. As per the latest reports, BLACKPINK star charged 55 million KRW per episode for just a special appearance in The White Lotus. This news generated mixed reactions among netizens.

The Kpop star's portrayal of Thai hotel staff earned widespread acclaim. According to the news shared by the recent post on X by the account Buzzing Pop. Lisa received 5,52,22,800 KRW (USD 40,000) per episode in The White Lotus.


However, rumours about Lisa's per-episode earnings sparked online debate among fans, who questioned it due to her limited screen time.

A X user wrote, "This is too much for a cameo which barely had lines or screentime.. Other actors deserve better... And she stole otyer cast interviews for herself without out any input."

Another user posted, "For doing nothing?"

Some users came in Lisa's reported fee and wrote, "The most good thing bout The White Lotus is, they all get paid the same..
