Orry-Sara Ali Khan Fued: Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has finally broken his silence on his highly discussed fallout with Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan and her family. In recent interviews, Orry has openly spoken about the reasons behind the rift and revealed that the situation can only be resolved if Sara’s mother, actor Amrita Singh, offers him an apology. The former friends have been at the centre of online chatter for weeks, following unfollows, cryptic comments, and viral digs on social media.
Orry Opens Up About His Fallout With Sara Ali Khan
Orry recently spoke to Hindustan Times, where he addressed his strained relationship with Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Explaining why he distanced himself from them, he said, "I unfollowed Sara a while ago.. and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years." He further added that maintaining a public friendship was no longer possible for him, saying, "Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don't think I can do that anymore." Although Orry did not reveal specific details about the trauma he mentioned, he made it clear that the issue runs deep and is personal.
In Jan 2024, Palak Tiwari allegedly apologised to Orry “out of respect for Sara.” He replied with a cold middle finger. A year later, his “3 worst names” reel explodes, and Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollow him. Bollywood drama coming full circle 🔥 pic.twitter.com/NqbXse0QsR

When asked if there was any possibility of reconciliation, Orry stated that it would depend entirely on Sara and Ibrahim’s mother. He said, "If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future." This comment has drawn mixed reactions online, with some supporting Orry’s honesty and others criticising him for dragging family members into a public feud. The feud became more visible after Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan reportedly unfollowed Orry on Instagram. Responding to a user online, Orry commented, "Long ago, bro. They just caught up (sic)." Things escalated further when a social media user wrote, “Amrita aunty is very angry”, to which Orry replied, "Put a glass of ice water on her head." The comment sparked backlash and was widely seen as dismissive. A deleted reel where Orry mentioned “3 worst names” was also interpreted as a dig at Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, and actor Palak Tiwari.

Meanwhile, Orry also addressed criticism over his remark about Sara’s acting career, where he commented "Sara Ali Khan’s hits." Defending himself, he said, "I don’t really think I said anything wrong about her.. I just made a small joke taking a dig at her career .. I highly doubt she even felt bad about it .. the whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time.. her biggest body of work is a series of memes that she’s delivered via movies.. people make fun of me being jobless all the time.. it’s not that deep."

While Orry has spoken openly about the issue, Sara Ali Khan has chosen to remain silent and has not reacted publicly to his statements.
