Genelia D'Souza, who is currently basking in the success of Sitaare Zameen Par, has finally broken her silence on the viral video featuring her, Riteish Deshmukh and Preity Zinta. A viral video featuring Genelia and Preity sparked widespread attention and meme culture, with some interpreting Genelia's expressions as jealousy towards Preity.
In a conversation with paparazzi account Instant Bollywood, Genelia said, "Hats off to the cameraman who shot it — he did a great job. It’s a good laugh. I think it’s a great laugh. I’m very clear that I have to be Riteish’s number one. I don’t care about anything else; these things are too frivolous for us. We’ve dated for 23 years now."
The actress further added, "People keep trying to create things… I mean, the video with Preity Zinta was amazing — I think that cameraman did a great job. But there are many videos that have come out which are rubbish. I don’t care — it makes no sense. It’s just blown out of proportion. I was just low on social battery."
