Haq Box Office Collection Day 6: After a successful opening weekend, Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's most recent courtroom drama, Haq, has seen a modest drop in momentum. The controversial movie has already surpassed Rs 12 crore at the domestic box office after garnering positive word-of-mouth for its performances and socially conscious narrative. Despite a decline in the middle of the week, Haq may continue to do well as it gets closer to its second weekend thanks to consistent attendance at evening and night showing.

Haq made around Rs 1.15 crore in India on its sixth day on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. This brings the total domestic net revenue of the movie to almost Rs 12.90 crore. The courtroom drama had an overall occupancy rate of 8.88% on Wednesday, with the highest attendance for night shows (11.14%), followed by evening shows (9.64%), afternoon shows (8.93%), and morning shows (5.81%).

Siddiqua Begum, Shah Bano's daughter and legal heir, reportedly sent a legal letter to the filmmakers of Haq, requesting an immediate halt to the film's release, screening, and promotional activities, according to news agency ANI. The 'unauthorized depiction of the personal life of the late Shah Bano Begum without the consent of her legal heirs' was asserted in the notice. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), producers Junglee Pictures and Baweja Studios, and director Suparn S. Verma have all received it.

What Is Haq All About?

Haq, which is set in 1980s India, tells the tale of Shazia Bano, a woman who files a lawsuit against her husband when he remarries and stops paying child support. Her legal battle turns into a nationwide discussion on women's rights and religious freedom when he attempts to use triple talaq to silence her.

Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi play the main parts in the courtroom drama Haq, while Sheeba Chaddha, Aseem Hattangady, Danish Husain, Nitin Mahesh Joshi, Rahul Mittra, and Vartika Singh play minor parts.
