Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu has drawn harsh criticism since its premiere, primarily for its shoddy visual effects. Directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna, the Telugu movie had paid premieres earlier on Wednesday before going on sale in theaters last Friday. It features Bobby Deol as Aurangzeb, Nidhhi Agerwal as Panchami, and Pawan Kalyan as Veera Mallu. In response to criticism, one of the movie's filmmakers, Jyothi Krisna, admitted that he was aware that some of the visual effects in the movie weren't 'at par.'
Hari Hara Veera Mallu director Jyothi described the Telugu movie's problems as 'minor' in an interview with ABN, saying he was aware in advance that some of the sequences weren't entirely satisfactory. He spoke about the teasing that Pawan Kalyan led period drama has endured since it began filming, with many people assuming it wouldn't be released.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu director said, "Anyone will troll only those who are in the limelight. People only get views when they write about something famous. I do not take any of the negativity to heart. Every single day, I see something negative being written about Hari Hara Veera Mallu. This is not the first time a film has taken this long to produce."

The filmmaker then responded to the criticism of the movie's sequences, especially those that featured computer-generated imagery or visual effects, by saying that they weren't 'that bad.' Jyothi Krisna shared, "When they nitpicked, all they could find was that the CGI and VFX were bad in some places. No one could point out the story and screenplay, or say it’s boring, or that they can’t understand it. There are 4400 shots in the film that required CGI. I knew in my heart that a few shots weren’t up to par, but it wasn’t something huge. We needed to hold special premieres for which tickets were sold out, and they turned that minor issue into something major."
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Revised Version
Hari Hara Veera Mallu has made over Rs 100 crore within four days despite receiving mixed reviews. A revised version of the movie, which had the poor VFX shots cut or eliminated, started showing in theaters over the weekend. The period drama's climax saw the biggest modifications. It began with Bobby Deol's Aurangzeb and Pawan Kalyan's Veera Mallu facing off in the midst of a cyclone. The whole sequence has been eliminated. In this scene, Aurangzeb declares, 'Aandhi vachesindi,' signifying the arrival of the storm. Veera Mallu rides in during this time. The movie concludes with a teaser for the HHVM sequel, Yuddhabhoomi or Battlefield, which will carry on the plot.
