The massive intrigue surrounding Hombale Films' Kantara: Chapter 1 is deeply rooted in the phenomenal success of Kantara (2022). With the makers deliberately keeping details of the prequel under wraps, a sense of mysticism surrounds the film, making its trailer one of the most highly anticipated events to look forward to. While the makers recently made the biggest announcement of the year about the Hindi trailer of the film will be releasing on 22nd September 2025 at 12:45 PM by Hrithik Roshan and Tamil trailer by Sivakarthikeyan, yet another exciting update has emerged: the Malayalam trailer will be unveiled by superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, while Prithviraj Productions will also be distributing the film in Kerala.

The makers took to their social media and shared a thrilling poster of the Kantara: Chapter 1 trailer launched by Hrithik Roshan in Hindi. Kantara: Chapter 1 is one of Hombale Films’ most ambitious undertakings. The creative team includes music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, and production designer Vinesh Banglan, all of whom have shaped the film’s powerful visual and emotional narrative.

Moreover, Hombale Films is leaving no stone unturned in carrying forward the legacy of this 2022 masterpiece. The makers have curated an extensive war sequence for Kantara: Chapter 1 with national and international specialists, involving over 500 skilled fighters and featuring 3,000 people. This sequence was filmed in an entire town spanning 25 acres on rugged terrain, over a period of 45–50 days, making it one of the biggest sequences in the history of Indian cinema.
