Bigg Boss 19 Update: With the new season, Bigg Boss has been creating buzz, especially for its potential contestant lineup. Several popular TV faces and social media influencers' names have been emerging online, among them is Anusha Dandekar. After Mallika Sherawat, Anusha confirmed that she is not participating in Salman Khan's reality show and never intends to in the future. She stated that makers should give her a cheque for all the free promo without ever stepping into the house.
Anusha Dandekar, who is gearing up for the series Hunter 2, reacted to the rumour surrounding her participation in Bigg Boss 19. In an interview with News 18, she said, “Honestly, I have no idea why my name keeps coming up. I’ve made it very clear that I’m never going into that house. I should be getting paid by them for all the free promo I’ve been giving without ever stepping in!"
On asking whether Bigg Boss makers have approached her, to this, she responded by saying, "Never. Not even a call. I think they know I’ll slip out midway! But really, if they’re going to keep using my name for attention, I deserve a cheque at this point."
On her decision not to be part of Bigg Boss, Anusha added, "It’s just a personal choice. I think people who do that show are incredibly brave. But, me? Not interested. It’s not my thing."

Bigg Boss promises to be packed with new entertaining elements, suspense and intense twists and turns. Besides premiering on TV on Colors, Bigg Boss Season 19 will stream on JioHotstar from August 24, 2025, as per the OTT Play report.
Besides Anusha, the list of expected to enter Bigg Boss includes Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shraddha Arya, Kirak Khala aka Priya Reddy, Dhanashree Verma, Arishfa Khan, Micky Makeover, Apoorva Mukhija, Hunar Hali and Habubu Doll. Other celebrities like Faisal Shaikh, Khushi Mukherjee, Ashish Vidyarthi and others are also reportedly approached by the makers. This season is reportedly to be the longest-running, compared to previous seasons as it will air for five months.
