Rakesh Bedi portrayed Jameel Jamali, a Pakistani politician with was connected to all the major players in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol, who thought the character in the movie was inspired by him, expressed his thoughts for the seasoned actor as well as the spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar. The film, which released in theatres worldwide on March 19, was banned in Pakistan.

Nabil Gabol said that he was taken aback by the wide range of responses to Dhurandhar, including the fact that so many Indians created videos after seeing it and referred to him as an Indian agent in a recent interview.

Nabil Gabol said, "Rakesh Bedi is an actor. He is an artist. I want to tell him that we may look similar. Humara dil, humari khoon, humara chehra sabka ek jaisa hain. Main personal nahi hona chahta hoon unke saath."

Nabil Gabol sent love for Rakesh Bedi and added, "Give my message to Rakesh Bedi, that I respect you as a very senior actor and I love you."

Nabil Gabol had also voiced his disapproval at his purported portrayal when Dhurandhar was released last year. In an interview with the media, Gabol was asked if he would attend the international meeting to request a ban on Dhurandhar, which many in Pakistan have criticized for 'tarnishing the country's image'. According to the former MNA, he said he didn't have enough fund. "Jo mera role dikhaya gaya hai, mera role bahut dabbang tha, or dabbang iss tareeke se tha ki inhone mere role ko sahi tareeke se nahi dikhaya."

Nabil Gabol suggested Lyari Ka Gabbar in response to Dhurandhar 2. He asserted that the movie misrepresented him and sparked intense internet harassment, igniting a global discussion.

About Dhurandhar Part 1 And 2

The spy-action movie Dhurandhar, which debuted in theaters in December 2025 and made over Rs 1300 crore globally, has a sequel called Dhurandhar 2. In order to dismantle a terror network that targets India, Ranveer, an undercover Indian intelligence operative, infiltrates Karachi's crime syndicates and Pakistani political power structures. Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Udaybir Sandhu are present in the film. Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has earned more than Rs 1400 crore.
