Ikkis First Look: Agastya Nanda's first look from Ikkis has dropped, and his fans are super excited! The historical story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra award in India, served as the inspiration for Sriram Raghavan's war drama. The bravery of the 21-year-old soldier who sacrificed his life in the war of Basantar in 1971 was showcased in two posters - One showed Agastya Nanda operating a war tank, while another was his powerful look in military uniform. The reveal took place on the birth anniversary of Arun Khetrapal's lasting impact.

Ikkis' first look honoured the bravery and selflessness of the young combatant who lost his life in the Indo-Pak War of 1971. The makers shared two posters on social media, and the caption read, "Woh ikkis ka tha, ikkis ka hi rahega."

Many dropped hearts and fire emojis in the comment section. A user wrote, "After an underwhelming Merry Christmas, one thought Sriram Raghavan would revert back to his forte, noir thrillers James Hadley Chase style. So this is a very interesting choice of subject. Really looking forward to see him direct Jaideep Sir, another of my favs." Another user wrote, "Agastya is very desirable to watch 'on screen,' listen to etc.. He was good in Archies! Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikander Kher, and debutante Simar Bhatia, along with veteran actor Dharmendra. The movie is scheduled for a December 2025 theatrical release and is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films company, which also produced Bhediya, Sky Force, and Stree.

The Ikkis teaser that was released along with the date of release is strong and poignant. It begins with a letter sent to Arun Khetarpal's father during the Battle of Basantar in 1971, stating that his son had been killed on December 16 in combat. The letter expresses sympathy on his passing. After that, black outlines depicting war scenes are presented to us, and then we catch a glimpse of Arun Khetarpal valiantly battling the enemy on the battlefield.
