Pushpa 3: Allu Arjun’s Pushpa franchise continues to dominate headlines, and now there’s big news for fans. At the SIIMA Awards 2025, held in Dubai on 6th September, director Sukumar finally confirmed that Pushpa 3: The Rampage is officially happening. The announcement, made in front of a packed audience, was met with loud cheers and whistles. At SIIMA 2025, Pushpa 2 walked away with five major awards which includes Allu Arjun won Best Actor, Rashmika Mandanna bagged Best Actress, Sukumar took home Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad won Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri was awarded Best Playback Singer (Male) for Peelings.
Sharing his gratitude, Allu Arjun wrote on social media, “Thank you, SIIMA, for the constant love & recognition. Winning 3 back-to-back SIIMA Awards is truly a humbling moment. Congratulations to all the winners & nominees. This credit goes to my Director @aryasukku garu for making this happen, my artists, my technicians, my producers and the entire crew of Pushpa. And I dedicate these awards to my fans...for the unwavering love & support. Humbled.” The biggest moment of the evening, however, came when the host jokingly asked the team, “Party ledha Pushpa? (Is there no party, Pushpa?)” referencing Fahadh Faasil’s character Bhanwar Singh Shekawat. When pressed about the possibility of Pushpa 3, Sukumar looked to Allu Arjun and the producer for a nod before and declared, “Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi! (Obviously, we’re making Pushpa 3).”

Meanwhile, the crowd erupted with excitement. Fans had already speculated about a third film after the end-credit scene of Pushpa 2 teased a continuation. The upcoming installment, titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage, is expected to feature a new antagonist facing off against Arjun’s Pushpa Raj, the coolie-turned-red sanders smuggler whose hunger for power defines the saga. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will also reprise their roles.

On the other hand, the Pushpa series has been nothing short of record-breaking. The first film, Pushpa: The Rise (2021), collected Rs 350 crore worldwide despite the challenges of the pandemic and was the year’s highest-grossing Indian film. Its sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), took things to another level by earning an astonishing Rs 1,871 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of that year. It even surpassed the collections of Baahubali 2 in India, cementing Allu Arjun’s position as one of the country’s biggest stars.

Additionally, despite earlier doubts, since Sukumar has another project with Ram Charan lined up and Arjun is busy with a sci-fi film directed by Atlee starring Deepika Padukone, the confirmation has set fan expectations soaring. Many also believe that unused footage from the promotional video Where is Pushpa may find its way into the third film, expanding the narrative.
