Masti 4: The popular Masti franchise is making a grand return with its fourth instalment, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. Titled Masti 4, the movie sees the original trio, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, and Vivek Oberoi back in the lead roles. Currently, the movie is being shot in the United Kingdom, and the team is hard at work bringing their trademark comedy back to the big screen.

Adding to the buzz, actress Genelia Deshmukh was recently spotted on the sets of the film in Birmingham. While the makers haven’t officially confirmed her role in Masti 4, it is being widely speculated that she will be making a cameo appearance. Behind-the-scenes videos from the shoot have surfaced online, showing Genelia rehearsing and filming for a song sequence alongside the lead cast.

Is Genelia Set To Join Riteish Deshmukh In Masti 4?

Meanwhile, Genelia looked chic in a white and olive green outfit with a yellow jacket thrown over her shoulders. Her soft curls completed the stylish look for the shoot. She was seen being followed by the camera crew, further fuelling rumours of her special appearance. Adding a personal touch to the shoot, Genelia and Riteish’s children, Riaan and Rahyl were also seen on set.

On the other hand, the actress also attended a birthday celebration for Masti 4 co-star Elnaaz Norouzi, which was held on location. Director Milap Milan Zaveri even shared a sneak peek of the celebration on his Instagram, giving fans more reasons to look forward to the film.

Genelia’s presence in Masti 4 would mark her return to the franchise after 20 years. She starred in the original 2004 Masti, playing Riteish’s on-screen wife. Their fun chemistry was one of the highlights of the film, which was directed by Indra Kumar. Over the years, the franchise went on to release Grand Masti in 2013 and Great Grand Masti in 2016.

Interestingly, Masti 4 is said to take a slightly different turn from the earlier films. According to reports, this instalment will flip the script, showing the female leads engaging in extra-marital affairs instead. Masti 4 is expected to hit cinemas in summer 2026.
