Is Jiya Shankar dating Ahan Shetty? Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame is dominating headlines once again. Jiya Shankar is rumoured to be dating Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty. Even though the Ahan's team has dismissed the rumours as baseless, multiple media reports continue to suggest that Shankar is romantically involved with the Tadap actor. Neither of the two has released an official statement addressing the buzz, but the speculation has undeniably sparked widespread curiosity.
As conversations around their alleged equation gain momentum, many are eager to know more about Jiya Shankar — the actor at the centre of these ongoing reports.
Who is Jiya Shankar?
Jiya Shankar became a houshold name after her stint in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. She is an actress known for her work in television, films and web series. In 2017, Shankar made her Tamil debut with Kanavu Variyam (2017). She even appeared in the Telugu romantic comedy Hyderabad Love Story (2018). Later, in 2018, Jiya starred in Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza-starrer Marathi film Ved.
In Hindi television, Jiya’s big breakthrough came with the comedy-drama Meri Hanikarak Biwi, where she portrayed Dr Ira Pandey. She went on to play Susheela “Sattu” in Kaatelal & Sons, a show noted for its take on gender roles. Jiya later featured in the supernatural drama Pishachini and also participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2, where she was eliminated just before the finale.

On Bigg Boss OTT 2, Jiya had a close bond with Abhishek Malhan (aka Fukra Insaan), which sparked dating rumours. However, Jiya later publicly shut down those rumors. She even posted on social media that they’re “nothing but friends — and now not even friends.” She’s also spoken openly about a past toxic relationship during her time on Bigg Boss OTT 2.
