Manoj Bajpayee carries the film effortlessly. He brings warmth, integrity, and quiet determination to a character who could have easily been reduced to a historical footnote. Instead, he makes Venkitaramanan feel real and deeply inspiring.

What also makes Governor stand out is its willingness to explore the lesser-known side of India's economic crisis. The film doesn't shy away from exposing the poor governance and policy failures of the time, making it both thought-provoking and relevant. For me, this was more than just a biographical drama—it was a fascinating look at a critical chapter in India's history, elevated by a truly brilliant performance from Manoj Bajpayee.
