Jatadhara Box Office Collection Day 6: Featuring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles, Jatadhara a bilingual mythological thriller is currently struggling to maintain its momentum at the box office. After a modest opening, the film’s earnings have seen a sharp decline over the week, raising questions about whether it can cross the Rs 5 crore mark. Despite its intriguing concept and grand visuals, the film’s performance has been far below expectations as it completes six days in theatres.

According to data from Sacnilk, Jatadhara earned Rs 1.07 crore each on its first two days, with Sunday showing a slight jump to Rs 1.25 crore. However, the numbers fell drastically from Monday onwards collecting Rs 0.55 crore on Day 4, Rs 0.60 crore on Day 5, and just Rs 0.24 crore on Day 6 (Wednesday, November 12). This brings the total to approximately Rs 4.78 crore within six days of its theatrical run. The film’s overall Telugu occupancy stood at 12.13% on Wednesday, with the afternoon shows performing slightly better than morning ones.

About Jatadhara Movie’s Story And Cast

Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, Jatadhara explores the myths and mysteries surrounding Kerala’s Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The movie follows Sudheer Babu as a ghost hunter who ironically doesn’t believe in the supernatural, while Sonakshi Sinha marking her Telugu debut plays the chilling antagonist Dhana Pisachi. The film also features Shilpa Shirodkar, Rajeev Kanakala, Ravi Prakash, Indira Krishnan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in important roles. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, Jatadhara aimed to reach pan-Indian audiences but has failed to make a significant box-office impact so far.

Meanwhile, the film faced tough competition from Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq, which dominated the box office during the same release window. With a reported budget of Rs 16 crore, Jatadhara now faces an uphill battle to recover its costs.
