Jimin, Suga, Jhope, RM, Jin, V, and JungKook are all members of the South Korean boy band known as BTS, or Bangtan Boys. Big Hit Music, the South Korean record label that oversees the boy band, wrote about BTS Movie Weeks' 16 Epilogue: Young Forever, sparking a lot of conjecture on social media. The post was accompanied by a video clip featuring solo performances by all of the members of BTS, with the exception of Jimin. 'Jimin Left BTS' and other similar hashtags began to trend on X (previously Twitter)
Jimin was only released from South Korea's required military service this year, which kept him away from BTS. Additionally, there have been rumours of the popular Kpop member going solo in the past, but they were never confirmed. This infuriated fans, who insisted that Jimin's role be included to the announcement video.

Jimin is still a member of BTS, though, and there are no rumours that he has quit the group. With Jimin left out, the social media discussion seems to be related to this video, which had fans perplexed. One of the users wrote, "@bts_bighit BTS ARE 7, FIX THIS, ADD A CLOSE-UP OF JIMIN, BE PROFESSIONAL AND APOLOGIZE." Another user wrote, "We request you to look into the video being shared which missed out on one of the 7 members, Park Jimin. BTS is 7. Kindly do the needful edits." A third user wrote, "Seriously, enough is enough!!! Time to unfollow unless you fix the problem!!! You know what you did!!! Jimin loves that song and even has it tattooed on his body!!! What is wrong with you HYBE???" A fourth user wrote, "We request you to look into the video being shared which missed out on one of the 7 members, Park Jimin. BTS is 7. Kindly do the needful edits."

The BTS band is getting ready for a brand-new, distinctive film-related event called BTS Movie Weeks. BTS ARMY have been discussing whether the initiative will be a concert film marathon, a brand-new BTS documentary, or something else entirely. Billboard claims that if BTS Movie Weeks is a stand-alone film centered around the septet, it will be BTS' seventh overall feature, after BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas, which debuted on February 1, 2023.
