Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram paid tribute to their grandfather and legendary Telugu actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka NTR on his 102nd birth anniversary. The two brothers laid a floral wreath and sat there for some time. Every year, Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram visit NTR Ghat to pay tribute to their grandfather’s birth and death anniversaries. Amidst a huge crowd, both the stars arrived together at the ghat. Jr NTR also shook hands with the fans, who were waiting to see a glimpse of the actor. 

Notably, NTR appeared in around 300 films and received three national awards. After gaining success in his acting career, he made a transition to politics. He served as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for seven years in three terms. 

Coming back to Jr NTR, he was last seen in Devara: Part 1, which released in theatres on September 27, 2024. The film also starred Janhvi Kapoor, Shruti Marathe, Saif Ali Khan, Chaitra Rai and Zarina Wahab in key roles. Koratala Siva’s directorial earned Rs 292.03 crore in India, while it was made on a budget of Rs 300 crore.

Now the Telugu superstar is gearing up for another pan-India movie, War 2. It also features Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on August 14, 2025. The teaser was released recently, which featured Hrithik and Jr NTR’s some high-octane action scenes. While sharing the teaser of the film, the makers of the film wrote on Instagram “Double the fire. Double the fury. Pick your side. #War2Teaser (Telugu) out NOW #War2 only in theatres from 14th August. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. #YRFSpyUniverse.” 

On the other hand, Kalyan Ram is known for his work in Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi, Bimbisara, Amigos, Devil: The British Secret Agent, Pataas, Ism and MLA Ka Power, to name a few.
