Karate Kid Legends Box Office Collection Day 1: Jackie Chan and Ben Wang starrer American martial arts drama movie hit the screens on May 30. The film has received mostly good reviews from the audience and the critics. Karate Kid Legends was one of the much awaited films of the year, which had a stellar star cast. Despite so much buzz, the film could not perform as per expectations on opening day. Karate Kid Legends started off on a slow note in India and failed to create a charm. As per Sacnilk, Karate Kid Legends opened at the Indian box office, earning Rs 1.75 crore. The film had an overall 10.11 per cent English occupancy on Friday, 17.72 per cent Tamil occupancy, 6.05 per cent Hindi occupancy and 11.92 per cent Telugu occupancy. It had 5.42 per cent English occupancy in the morning shows, 10.71 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 10.10 per cent in the evening and 14.20 per cent in the night shows.

The film was made on a production budget of USD 45 million (Rs 38 crore approximately).
About Karate Kid Legends
The movie is about Li Fong, who moves to New York City, attracting unwanted attention from a local Karate champion. He embarks on a journey to enter the biggest karate competition with the help of some legends. The martial art drama features Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, Ben Wang, Sadie Stanley, Joshua Jackson, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff, Ming-Na Wen and Shaunette Renée Wilson in key roles. It has been directed by Jonathan Entwistle and produced by Karen Rosenfelt. Karate Kid Legends has a runtime of 1 hours and 58 minutes. In India, the movie has been released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. While sharing the poster of the film, the makers wrote “Hahahaha cool cool cool. Cool cool cool cool cool.”
