Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani recently took a dig on Anuradhacharya Ji Maharaj over his stance toward women engaging in live‑in relationships. In a widely circulated short video, the ex-army officer called his comment “inappropriate” and even labeled him “anti‑national”. Patani clarified on Instagram that her comments were misinterpreted and wrongly linked to Premanand Ji Maharaj. She stated that her words were actually for Aniruddhacharya, who made misogynistic remarks about women in live-in relationships.

She said in a statement, "It has come to my notice that a false narrative is being circulated online, mixing my name with revered spiritual figure Premanand Maharaj ji, and spreading baseless claims that I’ve said something about him. Let me make this very clear – I have not made any statement against Premanand Maharaj ji. My words were strictly in response to a misogynistic comment made by Anirudh Acharya, and were directed only at him."

"It deeply pains me to see people misusing and twisting my words, dragging my name and my family name into something we have nothing to do with. This kind of targeted misinformation is not only unethical but dangerous. Respecting saints and spiritual traditions is something I hold deeply in my heart. But calling out misogyny, wherever it comes from, is also my dharma - and I will not remain silent in the face of injustice," she added.

Khushboo further added, "To those spreading lies - truth always stands tall. I request everyone to refrain from spreading manipulated videos and incorrect information. If this continues, I will be forced to take legal action against defamatory content."

In the viral video, Khushboo had said, "kehta hai, ladke laate hain 25 saal ki ladkiyon ko, jo 4-5 jagah mooh maar ke aati hain. Agar ye mere saamne hota, to mai isko samjhadeti ki mooh maarna kya hota hai, these are anti-nationalists, you should not be supportig such bastards of highest order. (If this had happened in front of me, then I would have made him understand. They are anti-nationalists, you should not be supporting such basta**s of the highest order.)"

She went on to state, "All the namards of the society are following this bast**d. He says ladkiyan jo live-in mai rehti hain, mooh maar ke aati hain. Usne ye q nahi bola ki ladke jo live-in mai rehte hain vo mooh marte hain? kya ladki akele live-in mai rehti hai aur live-in mai rehna kya galat hai bhaiya? (All the idiots of the society are following this nonsense. He is questioning girls who are in live-in relationships. Why did he not question boys? Do girls live alone in live-in relationships and what is wrong in live-in relationships, Bhaiya?)"
