Kota Srinivasa Rao Funeral: Veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao died in Hyderabad from age-related illnesses on Sunday. Reports from the film business claim that the 83 year old actor, who had been ill for years, passed away at home in the wee hours of the morning. The Telugu film industry's biggest names, including megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj, Venkatesh Daggubati, and Rana Daggubati, paid their tributes at Kota Srinivasa Rao's cremation.

Chiranjeevi also honoured the actor at his last rites. He covered Kota Srinivasa Rao's mortal remains with a wreath of roses. Additionally, he met the actor's family and paid his respect in front of his photo.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu visited Kota Srinivasa Rao's home on July 13 to comfort his family and pay a final visit to his mortal remains. Speaking to ANI, he said, "Kota Srinivasa Rao was a great actor. Nobody can replace him. He worked for the last four decades, acting in 750 films in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. He got 7 Nandi Awards, and he was also an MLA for five years. I was very happy to associate with him as a public representative when I was the CM. He has done tremendous public service."

Pawan Kalyan, actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam were some of the well-known personalities who paid their last respected to the late actor.

Jr. NTR, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Mahesh Babu, Karthi, Varun Tej, Vishnu Manchu, Ravi Teja, and SS Rajamouli, expressed their sorrow at his passing and paid their respects on social media. Many praised the veteran actor for his talent and commitment.

Kota Srinivasa Rao made his cinematic debut in the Telugu drama Pranam Khareedu (1978),  which marked the beginning of his brilliant career. The veteran actor starred in more than 750 films  in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam over the years. His comic parts in Money and Aha Naa Pellanta, as well as the antagonist in Gaayam, were among his most memorable portrayals. His contributions have had a lasting impact on the business, inspiring a lot of up-and-coming actors.
