The Virani family is planning to meet Pari's boyfriend's family, who are coming over to talk about the potential of a marriage alliance, while also coping with the sorrow of Angad's incarceration. Only a few days after its debut, the daily soap opera has managed to generate curiosity and excitement, leaving viewers excitedly awaiting what the upcoming episode will reveal.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 episode 7 opens with Tulsi and Mihir getting ready to greet Paridhi's boyfriend, Rannvijay, and his family at the Shanti Niketan. Gayatri Chachi mocks Tulsi about the same thing during the preparations. Tulsi later meets her mother, Malti, when she pays Vrinda a visit at her house. Malti pretends not to be aware of the CCTV footage in order to decieve Tulsi. Vrinda and Tulsi cross path as the latter leaves from chawl. She asks Vrinda for the CCTV footage after recognising her voice. Vrinda avoids Tulsi because her mother took a promise from her.

The Virani family is excitedly awaiting the arrival of Pari's boyfriend's family in the meantime. However, Ranvijay sends Pari a message letting her know that they won't be attending due to Angad. He states in the message that he no longer wants to pursue the connection because the Virani family's reputation has been damaged. Tulsi goes to comfort Pari, who is so distraught that she almost faints. Since they now know that Ranvijay isn't the appropriate man for Pari, Tulsi informs Mihir that it's a good thing their alliance didn't work out.
Mihir tries to comfort Pari as she starts crying. Gayatri Chachi once again mocks Tulsi for backing Pari. However, Karan and Nandini start to worry about Tulsi. Karan refuses to relocate to India during a discussion with Nandini but eventually turns around. He will travel to India in order to help Tulsi.
A breaking news report exposing Angad's innocence is shown on television amid the stress in the home. His friend, who was actually operating the vehicle at the time of the collision, comes forward and tells the media the truth. Angad is granted bail.
