Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra Day 10 Box Office: Malayalam cinema is enjoying yet another massive success with Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra. The film, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role, has been winning hearts for its fresh concept, engaging storytelling, and strong performances. Backed by Dulquer Salmaan under the Wayfarer Cinematic Universe (WCU), the Malayalam movie has turned out to be a box office powerhouse, both in India and overseas. The superhero drama revolves around a young woman who gains mystical powers while facing her personal struggles. She later embraces these abilities to protect the world when darkness threatens to rise. The concept of blending Indian folklore with modern sci-fi and horror has clicked well with audiences, drawing large numbers to cinemas since its release.

Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra Day had a steady opening week at the box office. According to a report in Sacnilk, on Day 1 (Thursday), it collected Rs 2.7 crore. The business saw excellent growth over the weekend with Rs 4 crore on Friday, Rs 7.6 crore on Saturday, and peaking at Rs 10.1 crore on Sunday. As expected, weekdays were slightly lower but still impressive, with Rs 7.2 crore on Monday, Rs 7.65 crore on Tuesday, Rs 6.75 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 7.1 crore on Thursday. By the end of its first week, the Malayalam movie had earned Rs 54.7 crore in India. Entering the second week, Lokah showed no signs of slowing down. On Day 9 (Friday), it collected Rs 7.75 crore (early estimates), followed by an even stronger Rs 9.75 crore on Day 10 (Saturday). This brought its total to Rs 72.1 crore net in India within just 10 days. With GST included, the Indian gross stood at Rs 85.07 crore.

Meanwhile, the global response has been equally phenomenal. Overseas markets have contributed Rs 71 crore gross, taking the worldwide total to a staggering Rs 156.07 crore in just 10 days. With these figures, the Malayalam movie has now joined the elite club of Malayalam movies crossing the Rs 150 crore mark worldwide in 2025. The audience response has been highly positive. On the other hand, Lokah has become the third Malayalam film this year to hit the milestone, following L2 and Thudarum. The success has sparked discussions about whether the film might soon overtake Mohanlal’s Thudarum, which grossed Rs 237.76 crore worldwide. If current trends continue, industry experts believe Kalyani’s film could cross the Rs 200 crore mark soon and potentially emerge as the second-highest grosser of 2025 after L2 (Rs 268.05 crore).
