Maaman OTT Release: After a long wait, Tamil movie Maaman is all set for its OTT release. The film stars Soori in the lead role, alongside Rajkiran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Swasika, Bala Saravanan, Baba Bhaskar, Viji Chandrasekhar, Nikhila Sankar and Geetha Kailasam, who take on pivotal roles. Maaman hit the theatres on May 16, 2025 and opened to positive reviews. Here is when and where you can watch it online:

Maaman OTT Release Date Confirmed

ZEE5 has finally confirmed the movie's release on the platform. However, they have not unveiled the premiere date yet. As per reports, Maaman is expected to stream on ZEE5 from July 5, 2025.

Maaman revolves around the bond between a maternal uncle and his young nephew and how the overbearing and attached relationship causes issues between the man and his wife. The film has cinematography handled by Dinesh Purushothaman, editing done by Ganesh Siva and music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The soundtrack and background is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab in his Tamil debut. Think Music acquired the audio rights.

Maaman, starring Soori, has achieved significant box office success, grossing Rs 43.81 crores worldwide as of its 35th day in theaters. With a production budget of around Rs 10 crores, the film's performance indicates a strong return on investment. In India, it earned Rs 43.56 crores, while overseas collections stood at Rs 0.25 crores. Although the exact ROI isn't verified, its box office performance suggests Maaman is a hit in the Tamil film industry.

Soori announced his film Maaman in August 2024, teaming up with director Prasanth Pandiyaraj and producer K. Kumar's Lark Studios, marking their second collaboration after Garudan (2024). The film's title was revealed on December 16, 2024, after a pooja ceremony in Trichy, and production began soon after. The movie features Soori alongside Aishwarya Lekshmi, Rajkiran, and Swasika in key roles. Sivakarthikeyan even made a surprise visit to the sets, sharing an emotional moment with Soori, with whom he has previously worked in films like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (2013), Rajini Murugan (2016) and Don (2022).
