Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Box Office Collection Day 1: Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has made a solid return to the big screen with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which opened on a strong note at the Indian box office. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the action-comedy drama hit theatres on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and has managed to attract large crowds despite receiving mixed reviews from critics.

According to trade reports, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu earned Rs 28.50 crore net in India on its opening day. In addition to this, the film had already collected Rs 8.60 crore net from special preview shows, pushing its total day-one collection to Rs 37.10 crore net. These figures are considered impressive, especially as the film released on a Monday. With its opening-day numbers, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has managed to edge past Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which earned around Rs 28 crore on its first day. The film has also surpassed the opening figures of Chiranjeevi’s previous releases such as Bhola Shankar (Rs 16.25 crore) and Waltair Veerayya (Rs 29.6 crore). However, the film falls short of the massive opening achieved by Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Chiranjeevi’s historical epic Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, both of which had significantly higher day-one collections.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu Story And Cast Details

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu revolves around Shankara Vara Prasad, a security officer played by Chiranjeevi. He is assigned to protect his estranged wife and children from a revenge-seeking former cop. What begins as a tense professional mission gradually turns into a deeply personal journey, as he attempts to reconnect with his family after six years of separation. The film stars Nayanthara as Sasirekha, alongside Venkatesh in an extended cameo role. The supporting cast includes Catherine Tresa, Zarina Wahab, Harsh Vardhan, Abhinav Gomatam, and others.
