While makers and Rishab Shetty's fans celebrate the box office victory, Manchester City's official handle welcomed their newest signing Erling Haaland in Kantara style. He was positoned on the powerful backdrop of Kantara: Chapter 1, reminding the audience that myth, tradition, and ambition may all come together in unexpected ways. Sharing the poster on Instagram, the caption read, "A legend, still being written."

With the help of a group of gifted actors, including Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Gulshan Devaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, PD Satish Chandra, and Prakash Thuminad, the movie vividly depicts this epic story.

Rishab Shetty is the writer, director, and star of Kantara: Chapter 1, which is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the esteemed Hombale Films label. The film includes music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Arvind S. Kashyap, who both contributed to the original's beautiful setting. On October 2, 2025, Kantara: Chapter 1 became available everywhere.
