Upasana Singh has had a long and distinguished career in the entertainment industry. Despite working with some of top celebrities in the Hindi film industry, Shah Rukh Khan was the one celebrity she never had the opportunity to work alongside. However, Upasana Singh finally got an opportunity to work with him for an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Recalling her time from the show, the Judaai actor told the The Daily Jagran that Shah Rukh Khan is a very 'down-to-earth' person. 

Upasana Singh had the opportunity to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in a recurring role as Twinkle, Kappu's neighbour and an old friend of Dr. Mashoor Gulati on The Kapil Sharma Show.  She recalled the interaction with fondness, reflecting on a particularly adorable moment when Shah Rukh refused to call Upasana Singh ugly even though it was in the script. She went into further detail about the exchange between Shah Rukh and Kapil Sharma, saying that the star was informed by the former that he was expected to make fun of Upasana Singh's character.

Heaping praises on Shah Rukh Khan, Upasana Singh said, "Koi bhi aadmi agar kisi bhi makaam par pahuchna hai toh uske peeche uski mehnat aur achayi zaroor. Matlab woh une aise karam kiye hai, uska behaviour, uski performance, uski mehnat, bohot saari cheezein count karte hai, toh Shah Rukh (Khan) ji ke liye toh mein yehi kahungi ki woh insaan bhi bohot ache hai. Apne co-actor woh bohot comfortable feel karate hai (If a person wants to be successfully, it's pureply based on their hard work and dedication. Meaning, the work they've done, their behaviour, their performance, their hard work—many things count. Regarding Shah Rukh Khan, I'd say he's a very good person. He makes his co-star feel very comfortable.)"

Upasana Singh revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is always prepared before he comes to the set. "Shah Rukh ji definitely jab bhi koi show karte hai usse pehle unhone pura sab study karke aate hai woh. Toh unhone dekha hua tha mera aur woh dil ke itne ache hai(Shah Rukh Khan definitely prepares everything before coming on the set of a show. He saw the show's format and he's so kind at heart.)"

Upasana Singh shared her brain stopped working after Shah Rukh Khan went against the script and flattered her. "Mera dimaag kaam karna bandh kar gaya, mujhe laga mein kya karun (My brain stopped working, I was wondering what should I do)." She called Shah Rukh Khan down to earth person.

Shah Rukh Khan, who came from a humble beginning, gradually rose to popularity, and now his level of achievement nearly appears unachievable. However, it is clear from his interactions with fans, media appearances, and, of course, his treatment of his co-stars that he is a kind person who will always be regarded as one of the biggest stars in the business. He frequently engages with his followers in a kind and modest manner, giving them a sense of worth and appreciation. His grounded demeanor has won him the affection of millions of people across the globe.

Having worked in the Indian entertainment industry for more than 20 years, Upasana Singh is a well-known actor from both television and movies. Her big-screen acting debut came in the Rajasthani film Bai Chali Sasariye, which is among the greatest hits in the history of Rajasthani cinema. Along with working on a several Hindi film, she also worked in many Punjabi movies. 

Upasana Singh is gearing up for the release of her Punjabi film, Badaa Karara Pudna, which is a remake of the Marathi film Baipan Bhari Deva. The comedy-drama, which is slated for release on November 7, 2025, tells the story of six sisters who make amends and laugh together after getting back together for a giddha dancing competition.
