Following the devastating car blast near the Red Fort area on November 10, Mika Singh has taken a big step as he cancelled his show in Delhi. The blast reportedly claimed the 13 lives and injured several others. Amid the tense environment, the singer chose to stay away from any gatherings in the city. The show was about to happen at the Soho club, Delhi, on November 12. Singh confirmed the news by sharing a circulated report and captioned it with a folded hand emoji along with a heart emoji (which has a bandage).

The blast affected big Bollywood events. The makers of Dhurandhar have postponed the trailer launch event, scheduled for Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Mumbai on November 12. The makers issued a statement, which read, “The Dhurandhar trailer launch scheduled for 12th November has been postponed as a mark of respect to the victims and families affected by yesterday’s Delhi blast. The revised date and details for the trailer launch will be shared soon. Thank you for your understanding-Jio Studios, B62 Studios & Team Dhurandhar.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Manav Gohil in pivotal roles. It is slated to be released in theatres on December 5, 2025. Dhurandhar has been produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The music of the film has been composed by Shashwat Sachdev. Ranveer Singh also extended his condolences to the victim’s family in an Instagram story, “Horrified by the incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening. My condolences to the families of the bereaved.”

A deadly Delhi blast shook Delhi on November 10 when Haryana registered car parked near gate number 1 of the Red Fort Metro station exploded. It killed at least eight people and injuring several others. In response the incident, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered heightened security measures across multiple major cities in India. The investigation has since uncovered terror links to Jammu and Kashmir.
