Mirzapur Movie Release: The excitement surrounding the Mirzapur movie has reached an all-time high. Before the cinematic spectacle hits the big screen, it is time to take a quick trip down memory lane. The phenomenon started when Mirzapur Season 1 premiered on Prime Video on November 16, 2018. For fans wanting to remember the exact chaos of the climax, here is how the first season ended.
Mirzapur Season 1 Ending Explained
Mirzapur Season 1 builds to a terrifying finale during a student wedding. Golu Gupta (Shweta Tripathi) successfully wins the university elections, prompting her family and friends to travel out of town for a joyful celebration. However, the atmosphere turns deadly very quickly.
Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar) is happily pregnant with Guddu's (Ali fazal) child, but Guddu is increasingly unstable due to severe side effects from his heavy steroid intake. Meanwhile, a revengeful Munna Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) is hunting the city to find the Pandit brothers and kill them on sight.
At the same time, the local UP police force is tracking the illegal gun trade and aggressively beating local sources to find out exactly who the brothers are working for. The tension snaps when Munna ruthlessly hijacks the wedding party.
In a shocking sequence of violence, Munna kills the pregnant Sweety and brutally executes Bablu Pandit (Vikrant Massey) right in front of their loved ones. He also leaves Golu and Guddu heavily injured.
Elsewhere, to protect his criminal empire and maintain a grip of fear over the public, Akhandanand Kaleen Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) ambushes and kills the investigating policemen. Back at the Tripathi mansion, Kaleen's father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) discovers Beena’s (Raska Dugal) secret affair with the servant Raja.
He brutally blackmails Beena, forcing her to cut off Raja’s genitalia.

In the final moments of the wedding massacre, a wounded Guddu desperately instructs a terrified Golu on how to fire a weapon. She tries to shoot Munna but misses the target.
Fortunately, the bride’s father, a powerful drug lord named Lala , orders his personal bodyguards to open fire on Munna. This sudden distraction allows the remaining guests to flee. Golu, Guddu, and Dimpy (Harshita Gaur) manage to escape the carnage together.
The season ends on a chilling note: Munna stands up to reclaim his weapon, a traumatized Beena searches for a hidden gun, and a grieving Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) shaves his head, swearing to conquer Mirzapur to fulfill his late father's ultimate dream.
