A live concert by celebrated singer Mohit Chauhan at AIIMS Bhopal turned unexpectedly dramatic when he tripped over a stage light and fell while performing. The incident, captured on video and widely shared online, happened during his rendition of ‘Nadaan Parinde’ from Rockstar. As Mohit moved close to the stage lighting fixtures to connect with the audience, he missed his step and stumbled forward. The crowd reacted instantly.
Within moments, concert staff and ground personnel rushed toward him. Given that the event was held at a medical institute, doctors and medical staff on-site quickly intervened to examine and ensure his safety. The performance was paused briefly while help arrived. Fans across social media were visibly concerned as clips of the fall circulated rapidly. Many sent their best wishes, hoping Mohit was unharmed. According to available reports, after the on-site checks, the show resumed, indicating that while the fall was mishap, it did not lead to a serious disruption or injury. As of now, Mohit Chauhan has not released an official statement regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, the concert formed part of the ‘Retina 8.0’ event hosted at AIIMS Bhopal on December 7, where students and attendees gathered to listen to Mohit Chauhan’s popular chartbusters such as Sadda Haq, Tum Se Hi, Ilahi, and others. The night was meant to be a celebration of music, but the unexpected slip added an alarming moment for both fans and organisers.
