Nana Patekar's NGO, working with the Indian Army, generously offered 117 households in the districts of Rajouri and Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, a rehabilitation package valued at Rs 42 lakh. Following Operation Sindoor, cross-border shelling had a particularly negative impact on these family. Helping those who lost their homes, means of subsistence, and stability as a result of the severe shelling was the goal of the relief distribution program. Nana Patekar, an initiative participant, emphasized that such initiatives are not charitable but rather a duty to fellow people.
Nana Patekar said that helping the families was his duty. The National Award recipient told reporters that all citizens need to take such actions. He said, "It is our responsibility to help when such incidents take place in the nation. They are our brothers and sisters. It is a collective responsibility for all of us. We haven't done any favours to any of them. This is what everyone should do."
Nana Patekar praised fellow actor Johnny Lever's charitable endeavors, stating that many in the Hindi film business avoid publicity during such devastating national events. The actor added, "People from our film industry also do a lot for people in need, but never come to the forefront. Johnny Lever is one of them. If we don't do it, then who else will?"

Nana Patekar's NGO Takes Initiative
A statement claimed that on Monday morning, Nana Patekar and several foundation trustees went to Rajouri Garrison to personally supervise the delivery of the rehabilitation packages. The Indian Army, which has been putting in a lot of effort to improve the lives of those living along the border, and the civil administration are actively supporting the restoration effort.
The Nirmala Gajanan Foundation, which bears the names of Nana Patekar's parents, Nirmala and Gajanan, has been actively engaged in healthcare and education projects throughout India.
