Nishaanchi Box Office Collection Day 2: Nishaanchi, Anurag Kashyap's latest project, has failed to leave a lasting impression at the box office after 48 hours. The film's opening box office receipts from India's net collections came to about 25 lakh. On Saturday, the film saw a little increase of 30 lakh, according to Sacnilk. The two-day total for the film, which starred Aaishwary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto, is Rs 55 lakh.
Nishaanchi recorded an occupancy rate of about 9.70% on the first day. Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, which debuted in theatres on the same day, is posing a serious threat to the movie. In addition to Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kumud Mishra, newcomer Aaishvary Thackeray is the main character of Nishaanchi.
Nishaanchi Day-Wise Collection (as per sacnilk)
Day 1 - Rs 0.25 crore
Day 2 - Rs 0.30 crore
Total - Rs 0.55 crore
Nishaanchi, according to the director's comments, is his most Salim Javed-style movie. However, the movie's ticket sales have taken a terrible turn. Known for his works Satya, Black Friday, Dev D, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Bombay Velvet, filmmaker and writer Anurag Kashyap is making a comeback with Nishaanchi.
What To Expect From Nishaanchi?
Nishaanchi, which was written for the big screen, offers an engrossing, cinematic experience that explores the complicated lives of two brothers who take radically different courses and reveals how their decisions affect their fates. "Twin brothers, identical looks but different values, face brotherhood, betrayal, love, and redemption. Their paths weave through crime into a deeper story of human nature and its results," read the official synopsis of Nishaanchi.
Nishaanchi Storyline
With the help of the former's companion Rinku (Vedika Pinto), twin brothers Babloo and Dabloo (Aaishvary Thackeray) attempt a bank heist in 2006 in Kanpur in Anurag Kashyap's Nishaanchi. When authorities apprehend Babloo and sentence him to ten years in prison, their plot takes a drastic turn. Dabloo, his twin brother, however, escapes just in time to join Rinku.
The narrative then goes back in time to introduce Jabardasth (Viineet Kumar Siingh), an idealistic guy who leads a contented life with his wife (Monika Panwar) and children, Dabloo and Babloo in particular. Due to his lack of reputation as a wrestler in the Akhada, however, his life quickly takes a drastic turn. He is rescued from difficulty by his friend Ambika Prasad. However, he meets a horrible end shortly after. That turns out to be a crucial point in the development of his kid, Babloo.
