Phule Box Office Collection Day 22: Pratik Gandhi and Patralekhaa starrer biographical drama movie hit the silver screens on April 25, this year. The film has been struggling at the ticket windows since its opening day, earning only in lakhs. On Friday, the movie saw a massive drop and earned the lowest of all time. Seeing the downward trend, it might be difficult for the movie to even cross Rs 7 crore. While the weekend collection may change the overall performance of the movie. As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 1 lakh on Day 22. The total net collection of Phule now stands at Rs 5.76 crore. The worldwide collection of the biographical drama is Rs 6.53 crore.

According to reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 29 crore. The movie has a long way to go to achieve the budget mark. 

About Phule Movie 

The movie is based on the lives of social reformers Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule. The plot focuses on their notable work for society, including working for the right to educate the girl child and supporting the lower caste. Despite the several oppositions, they successfully managed to change the patriarchal norms prevalent in the society. After the trailer release, many opposed the portrayal of the dominance of the upper caste shown in the movie. Many called the movie ‘anti-brahmin’ and soon the boycott trend started on social media. Overcoming all the backlash, the movie has earned over Rs 6.5 crore worldwide. Phule features Patralekhaa, Pratik Gandhi, Darsheel Safary and Vinay Pathak in prominent roles. The movie has been directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Pranay Chokshi, Ritesh Kudecha, Anuya Chauhan Kudecha, Sunil Jain, Raj Kishore Khaware and Jagdish Patel.
