Pooja Bhatt, last seen in Bigg Boss OTT 2, is best celebrated for her bold and unconventional storytelling in Indian cinema. The actress made her debut at just 17 in Daddy (1989), a television movie directed by her father, Mahesh Bhatt. Over more than three decades, she has built a great reputation as an actress, director, and producer. In her illustrious Bollywood career, she has delivered major hits, like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), Junoon (1992), Naaraaz (1994), and Chaahat (1996), among others. After a spell away from acting, she returned in recent years, featuring in Sadak 2 (2020) and the Netflix series Bombay Begums (2021). Now, Pooja Bhatt is set to lend her voice to a brand-new weekly podcast.
Pooja Bhatt, took to her Instagram and revealed that she is gearing up for a new talk show titled ‘The Pooja Bhatt Show.’ Produced by Epilogue and distributed by iHeartPodcasts in collaboration with Mammoth Media Asia, the show is set to premiere in late September 2025. Under the new Asia-Pacific slate, iHeartPodcasts has chosen Pooja to inaugurate this multi-lingual lineup featuring top creative talents from the region.

In the show, Pooja promises to ‘lift the hood’ on the Indian film world. The show will offer listeners a backstage pass to hear from a wide range of people: from megastar directors and leading actors to spot boys, background dancers, stylists, musicians, producers, and crew members.
“I want to shine a spotlight on the amazing people helping push our culture forward. From actors to directors to musicians to producers to stylists… I can’t wait to share the highs and lows of my journey and share the riveting stories of the people who have inspired and shaped me,” the 53-year-old shared in an interview with Variety.
On the other hand, Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts, expressed his enthusiasm for Pooja’s leading role. He said, “We are so excited to launch our first podcast in this new Asian slate with Pooja. A true legend in the Indian creative scene, we know she’ll bring an exciting and entertaining perspective to the lineup.”
Meanwhile, Jonathan Serbin and Jay Faires of Mammoth Media Asia point out that Indian cinema, music, and culture are increasingly shaping global trends. “The influence of Indian movies, music, and culture has been growing rapidly around the world. Pooja’s unique experience at the pinnacle of the industry for decades will be a treat to both Bollywood fans and those that wish to learn more about Indian cinema and creative culture across the board,” they stated.

The Pooja Bhatt show will be available weekly on all major podcast platforms, including the iHeartRadio app. With Pooja Bhatt as the host, the show promises an illuminating, unfiltered journey through Indian cinema.
