Priyanka Chopra is all set to observe Karva Chauth for her husband, Nick Jonas. The festivities kicked started earlier for the actress as she can be seen showcasing preparation for the day. In recently shared pictures on Instagram, Chopra flaunted her mehendi design, which had ‘Nicholas’ written in Hindi. She captioned the image by giving credit to Shirin Charaniya and wrote, “@ishirincharaniya doing her things this Karva Chauth.” In another post, Priyanka shared her hand with her daughter Malti Marie’s hand, flaunting a cute henna design of mother and daughter duo.

Earlier in an interview with Victoria’s Secret’s VS Voices podcast, Priyanka Chopra talked about her and Nick Jonas’s spiritual alignment. The actress was born in a Punjabi Hindu family, whereas the singer was brought up in a Christian family. Chopra said, “Spiritually, Nick and I align when it comes to our feelings and our relationship with our faith. Of course, we have been raised with different faiths. I am a believer that eventually, religion is a map to get to the same destination, which is God. So, whatever your faith has been when you were raised, we are all going in the same direction to a higher power. We both align on that.”

Notably, Priyanka and Nick got married in a traditional Christian and Punjabi wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in December 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Malti Marie, in January 2022, via surrogacy. It is the first time Marie can be seen adorning henna for Karva Chauth. Well, Priyanka Chopra’s fans are waiting for her this year’s Karva Chauth celebration. Every year, the actress uniquely celebrates the occasion, no matter which part of the world she is working in.

Talking about her upcoming project, Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated jungle adventure film alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. The first reveal of the project is expected to be out in November. She will also be seen in the Hollywood movie, The Bluff. The film also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Zack Morris and Temuera Morrison in key roles.
