Priyanka Chopra is making steady progress in her global film and television careers. Speaking at the Cannes Lions conference on Wednesday, the actor stated that she still believes her most significant English-language work is far ahead of her.

Priyanka Chopra acknowledged that she feels her work in Hollywood isn't as substantial as what she has accomplished in Indian cinema, despite her international assignments. "In my Hindi-language career, I've worked with all the best filmmakers and the best actors, I’ve told amazing stories and done a variety of genres."

The actress with an impressive list of international titles said, "Whereas in America, in Hollywood, in my English-language work, I haven’t really done that as much."

Priyanka Chopra stated that she wanted to play a wider range of roles in Hollywood. "The next reinvention is figuring out how, in English-language work, I can bring that kind of variety to my characters that I have been able to do in India."

Priyanka Chopra On Motherhood 

The actress talked candidly about her life after getting married and having a child, acknowledging that it has 'changed tremendously'.

Priyanka Chopra shared, "Your priorities really change. I don’t just pack my bags and go off for a movie anymore. I don’t do five films a year. I don’t travel the way I used to. I’m really, really selective about the time I spend and who I spend it with… I’m navigating working-mom life. I have so much more respect for my mother now."

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who married Nick Jonas in 2018, welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, through surrogacy in January 2022.

Priyanka is well-known for her roles in Indian films including The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Aitraaz, Krrish, Don, Fashion, Kaminey, 7 Khoon Maaf, Barfi!, Mary Kom, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Bajirao Mastani.

Priyanka Chopra's international credentials include major programs like Quantico and Citadel, as well as films like Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections, and the recently released The Bluff. Since then, she has starred in films including Isn't It Romantic (2019) and The White Tiger (2021). 

She will be making a comeback to Indian cinema after a seven-year absence with SS Rajamouli's Varanasi, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mahesh Babu. Sankranthi 2027 is when the movie will be released.
