Rajat Bedi, despite once being a good-looking and talented actor who eventually faded into the background of Bollywood, has made a stunning comeback in Aryan Khan's new Netflix show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The actor, known for memorable roles in movies like Koi... Mil Gaya and International Khiladi, found himself reflecting his own career struggles onscreen, portraying a forgotten actor struggling for relevance. His powerful and resonant performance has earned him widespread praise, with viewers hailing his acting and striking looks, proving he has not lost his appeal. The show has marked a dramatic turning point in his life, with the role serving as his grand re-introduction to the film industry after a long break.
Following the massive reception to his performance, Rajat Bedi’s career has been revitalised, proving that with the right opportunity, it is possible to reclaim one's place in the spotlight. During a recent interview with PTI, the actor got candid about his life after doing the show. “Life is looking beautiful. If you ask, ‘Is there a line-up of work?’, I would say, ‘No, I’m still waiting for those calls to come’. But some big producers are considering me for their projects, but till it’s not done, it’s not done,” he explained.

The star further added, "I’m excited now that at least people will look at me optimistically thinking I’ve done good work, and I was part of a big project. I want to do things and be relevant and live up to people’s expectations now. I'm being loved and appreciated a lot. I'm thinking, what now? I don't want this time to go away.”
Rajat Bedi also expressed that he is well aware that fans want to see more of him, and also assured that they will surely get to see more of him in the second season of the show, which is expected to come next year. He especially thanked the ‘Khan family’ for considering him for the show and expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards all for building a character’s story around his life.
