About Kuberaa: The Indian Telugu-language crime drama film Kuberaa was officially announced in June 2021 under the tentative title D51. This marks Dhanush's 51st movie of his career. The movie has been prouduced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations. The film's title was initially planned to feature Dhanush and Sekhar, but with Nagarjuna's inclusion, it was changed to DNS, representing the three stars.

Production began in February 2024, with the official title announcement following in March. Filming took place in Hyderabad and Mumbai, wrapping up in April. The movie boasts an impressive technical team, including Devi Sri Prasad's music, Niketh Bommireddy's cinematography, Karthika Srinivas' editing, and Thota Tharani's production design.
