Sahher Bambba Says Half-Siblings Plot With Lakshya Was A 'Huge Twist': 'Did Feel It Could Be Risky'

The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, Aryan Khan's first directing series, has been a topic of conversation ever since it premiered, with some of its characters and storylines capturing the hearts of viewers. The Netflix web series stars Lakshya, Sahher Bamba, Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol, Mona Singh and many more. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood was especially hailed for its stellar lineup of cameos, including big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, SS Rajamouli, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi. The show's climax, which revealed an unexpected relationship between actors Bobby Deol and Lakshya, was one of the most unexpected turns for the viewers.

Sahher Bambba, who portrays the lead acto Karishma Talvar and the romantic interest of Lakshya's character Aasmaan, discussed the half-sibling twist in an interview with News18. She said, "When I read about it, I did feel that it could be a risky thing. It was a huge twist. I knew it could go either way – either people would love it or wonder what’s going on."

Sahher Bambba continued, "But luckily, everyone that I’ve spoken to, including my family, friends and members of the fraternity, loved the plot twist. They all laughed with it. I’m very happy that people are liking Aryan’s vision and everything that he has done in the show."

In a different interview with Hindustan Times, Sahher Bambba disclosed that the cast's major surprise took place on the day of filming. The actor added, "On the day we had to shoot the climax, he called all of us in his van half an hour before that. He made us all sit and narrated the whole climax to us, and showed us clips of how he had shot it with the crew just to tell us how to go about it."

Sahher Bamba recalled her reaction and shared, "For the first five minutes, I didn’t know what had hit me. I was gobsmacked, it took me a while to process. I asked myself, ‘did I go to Goa to shoot this intimacy workshop just to find out this?’ I was feeling so bad for Karishma at that time. It was too funny, and we all cracked up. We were just hoping that the audience feels the same too, and they did."

Who Is Sahher Bamba?

With Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Sahher Bambba made her Bollywood debut in 2019. Sunny Deol directed the movie, which starred his son Karan Deol. Sahher was a vlogger who portrayed Sahher Sethi. Sahher and Emraan Hashmi starred in the music video for Ishq Nahi Karte prior to their big-screen debut. The singer of the romantic song was B Praak.
