IMDb Most Popular Indian Actors And Directors 2025: IMDb has announced the Most Popular Indian Stars and Directors of 2025. The rankings are based on page views from over 250 million monthly visitors worldwide. This year, rising actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have taken the top two spots after their widely praised performances in the romantic drama Saiyaara. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, became one of the biggest breakout projects of the year, also helping Suri secure the title of IMDb’s Most Popular Indian Director of 2025.

Earlier in August, both Ahaan and Aneet received the IMDb ‘Breakout Star’ STARmeter Award, a recognition that has often predicted major career milestones for emerging talent. Ahaan Panday shared his gratitude, calling the achievement deeply humbling. “To be ranked No. 1 with my debut film feels like a dream. This honour makes me even more aware of the responsibility I carry as an actor,” he said. He thanked director Mohit Suri for his guidance, producer Aditya Chopra for believing in him, casting director Shanoo Sharma for her support, and the entire Saiyaara team. He added that this recognition encourages him to work even harder on his next film. Additionally, Aneet Padda expressed that the honour still feels unreal. She credited Saiyaara for changing her life and thanked audiences across the world for connecting with her performance.
