Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife Sakshi Dhoni shared a nostalgic throwback photograph with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The photo is from the shooting of Hrithik's blockbuster movie Krrish. Sakshi shared a series of photos from 2000–2006 on her social media, giving a peek into her younger years with close friends. But one picture stood out immediately—a throwback shot of a young Sakshi posing alongside Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, which quickly grabbed fans’ attention.
The photograph, captured against a picturesque backdrop, seems to date back to the period when Hrithik Roshan was filming Krrish, which hit theatres in 2006. Hrithik’s appearance in the image closely mirrors his look from the movie, leading many fans to speculate that the picture was taken during the production of the film. The setting, combined with his signature Krrish-era style, strongly suggests that the moment was snapped while the actor was on location for the superhero blockbuster.
Once Sakshi uploaded the photos, social media quickly lit up with reactions. Many fans praised her for her timeless charm and nostalgia-filled post. However, most of the excitement centered around Hrithik Roshan’s unexpected appearance in one of the pictures. “With Hrithik Roshan in the 8th slide, damnnn,” a user exclaimed, while another commented, “A photo with Hrithik Roshan during Krrish shooting.”
Hrithik Roshan was most recently seen in the action drama War 2, alongside Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. Although the film created considerable hype before its release, it ultimately underperformed at the box office. War 2 has earned an estimated Rs 365 crore worldwide, with around Rs 244 crore net from India and roughly Rs 83 crore from overseas markets.

Despite opening strongly—thanks to its star cast and the anticipation surrounding the sequel—the film’s momentum dropped noticeably after the first week. Meanwhile, fans of Hrithik’s popular superhero franchise were treated to exciting news in September 2025, when filmmaker Rakesh Roshan confirmed that Krrish 4 is scheduled for a 2027 release.
