Season 5 is scheduled to premiere on January 5, 2026, promising higher stakes, bolder ideas and tougher negotiations. Aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds will step into the tank to pitch their innovative business concepts after clearing a rigorous selection process, hoping to win the confidence—and investment—of India’s top business minds.

This season brings together a dynamic mix of fan-favourite investors and influential new faces, adding fresh energy to the panel. The sharks, who have built business empires worth millions and even billions, will scrutinise every pitch, weighing ambition against execution and scalability. While many will enter the tank with big dreams, only a select few will walk away with life-changing deals, as the sharks ultimately decide which ideas are worthy of backing.

Shark Tank India is a Hindi-language business reality show that airs on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television, and is the Indian adaptation of the global format Shark Tank. The series features entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas to a panel of investors, or sharks, who decide whether to invest. Since its debut in 2021, the show has seen multiple seasons with evolving panels of sharks and hosts, including Rannvijay Singh in Season 1 and Rahul Dua in Seasons 2 and 3, followed by Sahiba Bali and Aashish Solanki in Season 4. Each season introduced new investors from India’s startup ecosystem. For Season 5, the show will see the addition of a new host, Aditya Kulshreshth, joining Sahiba Bali and Aashish Solanki, along with new sharks entering the panel.
