Superman Box Office Collection Day 1 (India and Worldwide): The new Superman movie, starring David Corenswet in the titular role, is now running in theatres. The James Gunn-directorial movie has kicked off with a strong start at the Indian box office following its release on July 11, 2025. The film has overshadowed the latest big-budget releases like F1, starring Brad Pitt, and Jurassic World Rebirth.

According to Sacnilk, the new DC universe addition had a strong opening in India, earning Rs 6.9 crore on its first day. On the same day, Jurassic World Rebirth, which was in its eighth day of release, brought in Rs 3.04 crore.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt's F1, which was on its 15th day at the box office, added Rs 1.93 crore to its total collection. These figures highlight the ongoing performance of these films in the Indian market, with each movie continuing to draw audiences in its own right.

The Superman film has made a strong start in the US, raking in $55 million on its opening day. According to current projections, the movie is expected to perform exceptionally well worldwide, with estimated total collections reaching $220 million globally.
In the US alone, it's anticipated to gross around $120 million, indicating a highly successful box office run for the James Gunn-directed DC film.
